“Let’s Go Places”
Corolla
The new Corolla sedan, hybrid and hatchback is a pretty special model. With safety features, driving dynamics, build quality, and materials you’d usually find in much higher end cars, this subcompact punches way above its weight class.
Prius
If you need a city runabout that gets great gas mileage and is endlessly reliable, you can’t go wrong with a Prius. However, if you spend more time on the highway, there are mile munchers that do a better job.
Camry
The recently updated Camry has driving dynamics to back up its new aggressive looks. Toyota has brought it on par with the Accord, but backs it up with legendary Toyota reliability.
Tacoma
The Toyota Tacoma is one of America’s favorite midsize pickup for a reason. With hilariously high resale values, generally reliable powertrain and rugged looks, the upcoming update (finally including a diesel engines if car blogs are to be believed) will help the Tacoma stay on top.
RAV4
The RAV4 is the safe choice when it comes to buying a midsize family SUV for good reason. It comes standard with loads of safety tech, looks interesting, and continues the Toyota reputation of bulletproof reliability. If you’re looking for a more stylish or interesting choice, check out the Mazda CX-5.
4Runner
Like the Tacoma, the 4Runner is getting a little old, but it’s one of the last body-on-frame, old school off-roaders. Also like the Tacoma, the 4Runner’s reliability and resale value help offset its less than stellar driving dynamics and woeful fuel economy.
